Product Application:

1. Propylene glycol is mainly used as a solvent for various flavors, colors, preservatives, vanilla beans, roasted coffee grains, and natural flavorings. Moisturizers and softeners such as candy, bread, packaged meat, and cheese. Can also be used as noodles, filling core anti-mould additives. Adding 0.006% to soymilk can make the flavor unchanged when heated, making it a white and glossy packaged tofu, and the volume expands when it is fried.

2. Propylene glycol is an important raw material for unsaturated polyesters, epoxies, and urethanes. The amount of propylene glycol used in this area accounts for about 45% of the total consumption of propylene glycol. This type of unsaturated polyester is used in surface coatings and reinforced plastics. Propylene glycol is excellent in tackiness and hygroscopicity and non-toxic, and is therefore widely used as a moisture absorbent, an anti-freezing agent, a lubricant, and a solvent in the food,  and cosmetics industries. In the food industry, propylene glycol reacts with fatty acids to produce propylene glycol fatty acid esters, which are used primarily as food emulsifiers; propylene glycol is a good solvent for flavorings and colorings. Propylene glycol is commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry as a solvent, softener, and excipient for various types of ointments and ointments. Since propylene glycol has good mutual solubility with various types of perfumes, it is also used as a solvent and softener for cosmetics. Propylene glycol is also used as a moisturizer for tobacco, a mildewproofing agent, a lubricant for food processing equipment, and a solvent for food marking inks. Aqueous solutions of propylene glycol are effective antifreeze agents.

3. As a drug carrier, granular pharmaceutical agent. Can be used as a moisturizer in cosmetics, softeners, solvents and so on. Tobacco industry can be used as tobacco essence, tobacco moisturizer, preservatives and so on. In the food industry as a solvent for fragrances, food dyes, food packaging softeners, and food release agents. It can also be used to produce unsaturated polyester resins, plastic plasticizers, dehydrating agents, surfactants, curing agents, binders, and other raw materials. Can also be used in paints, coatings and other industries.
